This is an art piece that done by me, firstly I get inspiration from the red board with tag line “wrong way”. Then I started to think, how we know there is not a right way if we don’t go through by our own. It reflected our life sometimes, when we were in primary school teachers said that is not good is wrong then we will stop at where we are. When we walk in to the society, everyone afraid of doing wrong or step into the wrong way. They prefer stop where they were and stay at their comfort zone. Red is a color for warning, alert, stop so I changed the color for the sign board into green. What I’m going to said is “ Why not we just step in and walk in to the way that stated WRONG WAY by someone” because the one who stated “ wrong way” is not myself but other people. Why should I follow his instruction and believe him instead of believing myself. So I put the color in green is to portrayed – “GO”
Wrong way is encourage and is not the end of the world. Some people cannot afford when they knew they are in the wrong track, wrong decision, wrong estimation, wrong perception etc… they will exaggerate the situation and just focus on what they done wrongly so they choose to give up or choose to commit suicide. But they always refuse to learn from the wrong way, and get yourself to the right way. For me wrong way always is my teacher and is a way u must go through to find the right one.

This is an advertisement that brings out awareness for the people who think the handicapped is strange. Which can see the picture for the left is the origin advertisement for Wonderbra with the same tag line "Look me in the eyes ... I said the eyes". And the right one which is the redesigned handicapped advertisement. She uses a very fine looking lady and just wearing a bra, usually we will stop our view on the chest or the fine looking face. But we focus on the missing lower part of left hand.  Although using the same tagline but come out with a different message and strong impact. The artist without using any principle design or color to make our views to focus on her left hand but our view automatically keep focusing to it. The reason is our mentality, human always keep looking and think she is strange when she is different from us. The artist uses this mentality in this art piece with the tag line, that why it comes out a very powerful impact and conveys the message clearly. The message the artist wanted to conveys is – don’t alienated and exclude the handicapped people from the society or working field. The artist voices out the problem handicapped people facing now. They can do well as we are; even the people in wheelchairs can speak fluently then you and me. So put your view on their ability but not their disability.
Here I inspired by how the artist take other design and idea put into her own concept and idea although is same but create a strong impact and contrast to that art piece. What she sees is different from other people. We are different and our point of view is different too. “Don’t put your own view on the handicapped people “. I think this is she wanted to conveys out.

This is a news that was an elderly woman who attempt to restore a fresco that located in a church --Sanctuary of Mercy Church near the Spanish city of Zaragoza. This fresco called “ Ace Homo” or “behold the man”. The matter is the restoration was failed and become like the picture above. At first, many people get angry and blame on the elderly woman who destroyed the historical art piece. But later on, they are some people are making joke on this art piece and a lot of tourist came to Spanish for just to look on this distorted art piece. The church and the fresco become famous and a lot of youngster becomes more interested in historical antique after this incident. Although this is an accident and is a joke, but it causes a big awareness in Aesthetic View and some party accepted the art piece. And I’m one of them.
What inspired me after looking on this art work, we just put aside the principle of design and shape, line, color etc… the idea here is the “ability to accept” and the “aesthetic view”. For me this artwork although it been distorted but it bring me laughter and a lot of inspiration, so this is a good artwork and it is nice. Am I wrong? From this art work, it teaches me how to look to an artwork. Usually in this society now, our aesthetic view is lean on the surface but not the truth behind it. This is what we have neglected.

Step up revolution, is a movie that describe when Emily Anderson—a daughter of a wealthy businessman met with a youngster who love dancing. The shows really impress me when in the beginning of the movie. They cause a huge traffic jam and dance in the middle of the road. They do so just to make awareness to the people to look at them through the you-tube and they aim to win a contest. In this show is portraying the youngster nowadays who wants to make themselves being seen by the world, internet is the powerful tools to them. In the show they can even do revolution and protest their homeland being destroyed by just using you-tube.

As a designer, we don’t just design thing and draw … and draw, keep surrounded by those principle of design. But we need to do is to expose our self to the world and let the world know you. Design tools not just surrounded by lines, shape, composition, color, AI, Photoshop, pen etc.. Internet is a very powerful tool to the designer today. This is how the world running today, people gets to know you and give an opportunity to succeed then u are lucky, if people don’t know your existence then you are nothing even you are good in drawing or singing. And one thing that inspired me in creativity is the scene when they dance in the art gallery without permission. They use a lot idea from light to make their performance look attractive. And they use the term of camouflage. The dance carried out a strong message about “get out from where you are” and breaks the rules for example the performance when they demonstration in the Bill Anderson company.

This is an installation art --CNJPUS TEXT, is all painted by typography.  The concept and message  of this artwork for the artist wanted to conveys to us is to aware those who are forgetful or don’t know the truth behind the society and history. Why said so ? this painting originally come from Japan made by Japanese artist Ryo Shimizu. As we know everything originates from somewhere else. Same as Japan’s culture, from their word character (kana, katakana, Arabic numerals, and Roman letters) or to their tradition culture is influence by many countries and we always mix and match other country’s culture with ours. Same to Malaysia, the word Katil is actually from Tamil. Here the artist used the combination/Hybrid of Chinese and English font.
I like the way he install the artwork and he really get know the type of typography. Some fonts are on the floor but he didn’t just leave it lean on the floor he decorate the posture of the font and make it like standing lively. I think this part is the most impressive to me. He used the serif font in his artwork.
