ID: 1104814

What do you want from this course?

I want to learn things I never could from just youtube tutorials or craft books. Hopefully, I'll also be able to pick up the puzzle pieces of where I'm actually heading to in my future, not tied down to just one direction of becoming a graphic designer.

What do you want to be doing in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

I want to become better and better in the things I love doing the most. I don't want to stop taking photos of every moment, making my own music, playing on the piano, creating designs that touch hearts. I want to keep seeing, hearing, and learning as much as I breathe.

What do you hope to get from this particular class?

History has never been my favourite subject. I admit. But Art was and still is my favourite subject until today. So when both of that come together, I was attracted to learn it despite having the word 'History' in the name of this subject. All I hope to gain in studying this is to know the root for all these amazing ideas and and creation I see today in the field of Arts. The people, the community, the culture that made Art, it's all so new and fresh to me. I've not been exposed to this before, and there's just so much to anticipate.

Is History of Arts and Design necessary for your larger goals?

YES. Just one lecture of HoA & Design is enough to leave my jaw hanging. The past is so rich with stories and drawings. It will definitely enrich me so much more in doing my designs for the rest of this course.

The most beautiful thing for me:

Innocence.
freedom from all worries and duplicity.
Like a child, every word and action is sincere and transparent.

The ugliest thing for me:

Destruction.
destruction of all kind; of one's own life, of one's will to live, of a country, of nature etc.
it is the saddest sight for me.
